Judge Judy Sues The National Enquirer Owner

Judge Judy has taken legal action against the company that owns the National Enquirer for making up a story about her. They claimed she was trying to help the Menendez brothers decades after they killed their parents. The lawsuit names Accelerate360 and A360 Media as defendants. Judy Sheindlin filed the lawsuit in Florida. The Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, are in prison for killing their parents in 1989. They got convicted in 1996. Last month, In Touch Weekly, a tabloid owned by the same company as the National Enquirer, published a story called "Inside Judge Judy's Quest to Save the Menendez Brothers Nearly 35 Years After Their Parents' Murder." The National Enquirer also ran a story on its front page titled "True crime! Judge Judy's FIGHT FOR LYLE & ERIK!" The article itself was titled "BALONEY! Judge Judy on Warpath to save Menéndez bros." Judge Judy explained why she's suing: "When you make up stories about me just to make money, without caring about the truth or my reputation, you'll have to pay for it. And if you keep doing it, it's going to cost you even more. I'm taking this stand so you'll finally stop."

I mean, I think they have punished him,” Burr said. The attention to the protesters was quickly diverted by the cheering crowd, who chanted, “Jerry! Jerry!” as Seinfeld went on to give his speech and accept an honorary degree from Duke. While Seinfeld appeared to receive support from the majority of the crowd, once the cheers eased up, several boos and shouts of “Free Palestine,” could be heard erupting through. Seinfeld has been vocal over his support for the Jewish State following Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre that killed more than 1,200 people and kidnapped another 252. He also met with families of the hostages and visited a kibbutz destroyed by the terror attack during a trip to Israel in December.

"Succession" Star Brian Cox Slams The Bible

“Succession” star Brian Cox gave his take on the world’s most popular book this week in an interview on The Starting Line podcast with Rich Leigh. He called the Bible the “worst book ever.” He said he thinks religion “holds us back because its belief systems, which are outside ourselves, they’re not dealing with who we all are, they’re dealing with well, ‘if God says this and God does that.’” He said: “We created that idea of God and we created it as a control issue. It’s also a patriarchal issue. That’s how it started and it’s essentially patriarchal. We haven’t given enough scope to the matriarchy and I think we need to move matriarchically.” “We have to go more towards a matriarchy because the mothering thing is the thing which is the real conditioning of our lives,” he explained. “Our fathers don’t condition us ‘cause they’re too bloody selfish, but our mothers have to because they have an umbilical [cord],” he said. He concludes that people need religion because “they need some kind of truth,” but “they don’t need to be told lies.” And The Bible is “not the truth,” he stressed.
